School Tour Hours, Rates and Descriptions

Our goal at Norz Hill Farm is to provide a safe and friendly environment for students to come and learn about agriculture.  After all, good nutrition starts at the farm!  Your guide will discuss the history of our farm and about our current farming operation.  There is so much to see and learn about the different type of animals.

Hours of Operation

  • Tuesday thru Friday at 9:30 am, 11:15 am and 1:00 pm.
  • Please contact us for the dates available as tours are by appointment only.

* Mondays are reserved for rain dates only.


Rates & Tour Information

Fun and Educational Tours
$ 10.00 per person (students and chaperones).

  • Our tours start at 9:30 AM, 11:15 AM and 1:00 PM.
  • Please arrive 15 mins prior to your scheduled start time
  • Tours are scheduled Tuesday through Friday and last approximately 90 mins.  (Mondays are reserved for rain dates.)
  • Our Market will be open in the summer and fall
  • Picnic area available IF REQUESTED in advance.
  • Minimum 15 people
  • Activities
    • Guided tour of the farm animals
    • Hayride
    • Kids bale maze
    • Spring/seed planting, Summer/vegetable picking, Fall/pumpkin and gourd (we will supply bags if needed)
  • Grades 3 and up may add the corn maze in the fall, this will add a .5 hour to your trip and cost an additional 5.00 pp

STEM Tours
$ 16.00 per person (students and chaperones).

  • Our tours start at 9:30 AM, 11:15 AM and 1:00 PM.
  • Please arrive 15 mins prior to your scheduled start time
  • Tours are scheduled Tuesday through Friday and last approximately 90 mins.  (Mondays are reserved for rain dates.)
  • Our Market will be open in the summer and fall

  • Minimum 15 people
  • Activities
    • Farm Animals are incorporated with science and math worksheets and question including the Pungent square.
    • Hayride
    • Solenoid workshop, discovering the use as haunt prop.
    • Moisture testing with grains
    • Smart Farming practices (basic farming history, soil and equipment)
    • Spring specific soil erosion, seed planting with relationship with seed germination (Scientific Method will be ongoing.)
    • Fall specific Corn maze math, Pumpkin – weight, mass and density (Scientific  Method) your student will take home a pumpkin and gourd to explain what they learned to their parent/guardian.

Farm Rules & Dress

  • For everyone’s safety, ABSOLUTELY NO sandals or open toe shoes are allowed. Sneakers or boots are required.
  • Stay with your group.
  • Take plenty of pictures
  • No cell phones.
  • HAVE FUN!!
  • We do have portable restrooms, hand washing stations and hand sanitizer

* Since we cannot predict the weather and we are not in a controlled environment, please dress according to the weather.
